Nebraska & Iowa— Wow, what a morning after. A storm system producing reported tornadoes swept through Nebraska Tuesday bringing very strong winds, rain, golf ball sized hail and tornadoes in some areas.
According to local news stations the recent storm system producing reported tornadoes swept through Nebraska Tuesday causing damage. The National Weather Service in Omaha reported extensive flooding along the Missouri River after heavy rain and hail hit the area.
Electrical power has been restored to all but a few hundred customers in eastern Nebraska who lost electricity when powerful thunderstorms rolled through.
