Gary had Thrasher out to his home to provide an annual maintenance for a waterproofing system and an anchor system that we installed a few years back. While visiting with the service technician, Gary, the owner of the home, brought up the subject that he had two people living in his basement, and he was concerned about a way of escape for them if there happen to be a fire or emergency.
The service technician showed Gary how an egress window could provide a solution to his problem. Besides providing a way of escape, it would also allow emergency crews a way to enter the basement, provide natural light and fresh air, bring the basement up to code and increase the value of the home.
