Mr. and Mrs. Guest live in California and love to travel the country. Hastings, Nebraska became a natural location for a summer home and resting place for extended periods of time due to the fact that they have extended family in the area.
After having the home for only a few years they arrived in the early Spring after spending the winter in California. Upon opening the front door Mr. and Mrs. Guest were welcomed by the smell of mold and mildew. The Guests new immediately that they had come home to a problem.
They went to the basement and saw the mold on the walls. The front wall and the stairwell had visible mold growth and ¼ inch of standing water on the basement floor. The basement was finished and a place they used when family visited and spent the night. Mr. Guest began cutting drywall and Mrs. Guest began looking in the phonebook for help.
