Monday, February 21st marked the date of the annual chili cook-off at Thrasher Basement Systems. Employees were invited to pull out their best recipe for chili and bring it in to share with the team. There were 11 pots of chili that were entered into the contest and each employee had the opportunity to taste all 11 and then rank their favorites. Congratulations to Lisa Kassera, Accounting Assistant, our first place winner with a white chicken chili. Our 2nd place winner was Kathy Rathbun, Multimedia Specialist and 3rd place went to Jim Gidley, Director of Finance. Congratulations to all our winners and thanks for the great lunch!
In addition, to our chili contest, employees were also asked to bring a picture of their worst hairdo from when they were a smaller child. All the pictures were put in a slideshow and employees were asked to guess who was in each picture. Congratulations to Cindy Sullivan who guessed 11 out of 15 of the pictures! Nice Job Cindy!
Thrasher had 4 new employees start today, so the chili cook-off was a great opportunity not only welcome our new team members, but also to share a lunch together. Thrasher welcomes Johnny Stephens, Real Estate Consultant/Direct Marketing Specialist, as well as Tom Keck, Brian Thompson, and Bob Waldon, System Design Specialists.
