The Thrasher Basement Systems Sales Team is involved in a new opportunity for both our employees and our customers to give back to the community. In a partnership with the Hope Center for Kids in Omaha, Thrasher is now offering extended warranties to customers with all proceeds going to support the Hope Center.
Ty Schenzel, Executive Director of Hope Center for Kids, attended a Thrasher sales meeting a couple weeks ago to educate Thrasher sales representatives about the mission of Hope Center for Kids. Ty shared that the vision for the Hope Center for Kids took root in his heart. Ty believes that his mission and life purpose is to offer hope to children in the inner city. Pastor Ty began by building a foundation of trust in the community. He set up discussion groups between the white youth from his West Omaha church and black teens from North Omaha. Through these sessions, the young people were able to gain a better understanding of each other's culture, and the Lord began to draw the two groups together in a mighty way.
The mission of the Hope Center for Kids is to break the cycle of hopelessness for inner city youth through faith, education, employment and collaboration. The sales team is excited to help with efforts to contribute to Hope Center for Kids and is planning to volunteer at the center through the winter.
