On Thursday, September 16th, several members of the Thrasher Basement Systems team attended the Better Business Bureau's 2010 Integrity Awards Luncheon. The guest speaker at this year's luncheon was Holly Petraeus, director of the military program of the BBB and wife of Army General David Petraeus.
The prestigious Integrity Awards honor those companies whose business practices and related activities exemplify the BBB's mission and principles which include honesty, commitment and trust. The Integrity Award winners are chosen by an independent panel of business leaders and members of the academic community. Dan Thrasher, Director of Operations, served on the panel of judges this year. Dan was honored to review nominations and applications for this year's award, as well as assist in choosing the winners.
Thrasher Basement Systems is a two-time winner of the award, most recently in 2008 and also in 2000. Thrasher also received an Honorable Mention for the award in 2006 and was a finalist in 2007. It was an honor to attend the luncheon and be in the presence of other businesses in the Omaha area who strive to uphold the same ethical business practices as Thrasher.
