The 2011 Corporate Cup was on September 18, 2011 and, once again, Kyle Olson (FSI Senior Structural Engineer) organized the community team named "Renegade Thrasherworks." Eight employees participated in this 10-K run and 2-mile walk benefit the American Lung Association.
The Corporate Cup is one of the premier running events in the nation and among the largest of corporate road races in the United States. The Corporate Cup's unique character - businesses and their employees coming together to have fun and fight lung disease - is the basis for its success. The Omaha Corporate Cup raises funds and awareness to support education, research and advocacy programs so everyone can breathe easier. Participants attend the Corporate Cup to support issues critical to family health - improving air quality, eliminating lung disease and keeping kids tobacco free.
