Foundation Supportworks by Thrasher hosted a Seminar for the American Concrete Institute Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 8:00am- 5:00pm. This seminar was open to engineers, design Professionals, contractors, inspectors, code enforcement personnel, ACI members and interested students.
This one-day seminar provided information and training on Adhesive Anchors; Their Behavior and Code Design. Breakdown of topics included Material properties,Code Requirements, Design for Tension Loading, Design for Shear Loading, Supplemental and Anchor Reinforcement, Tension and Shear Interaction, Design Complex Connections, and Anchor Installer Certification. Those in attendance received 7.5 Continuing Education Credits, along with several publications regarding Adhesive Anchors.
